The class is a Physics/Earth Science course that is meant to complete the rounding out of a freshman's science experience.
It fulfills a lot of the basic physical and earth science content found in the NJ science curriculum.
The class is coed, freshmen mostly, a few sophomores, a junior or senior only rarely. Students have a homogenious math
background.
The week is divided up into two lecture days, one pre-lab/demo day, one lab day, and one post-lab/problem day. Tests
are scheduled for Tuesdays. Adjustments made for shortened weeks. Quizzes can be announced or not. No multiple choice questions
will be seen in this class - just short fill-ins, problems/essays, drawings. Lots of labs, independent project each marking
period.

Here's apicture of my boat.
There are four semesters, a mid-year and final exam.
Students are given course outline, safety rules, and grading requirements.
