Labs
Lab #1 (2002) The Catenary Arch
A mixed series of results made clear to many the importance of reading directions. Successful arches were sturdy. Successful
teams expressed a need for more time. Jill did a great job putting out the fire. Billy's sport shirt will never look the same.
Clean up was very good. Unfortunately 35% of the labs were handed in late and so were graded minus 20 points. Most labs
came in on computer lab sheets. Congrats to all those word processing mavens for putting in the time and earning those extra
points.

Tests
Quiz #1 (2002) Numbers
Overwhelming success for the majority in class. Even though the quiz was difficult, the average was over 85%. Two students
did get everything wrong. Thatsciguy's reaction was "Ya study correctly, ya get a good grade. Ya do a stinkin' job of studying,
ya grade will stink."
Two people managed to get the number twentysix in arabic wrong.
